Welcome to the Northern Illinois Chapter of the Crochet Guild of America. We are a local crochet group that meets in northwest suburban Chicago. If you love crochet and want to learn more, come join us!
Our next meeting is Saturday, May 12, 1:30 to 4:30 pm, at the Rolling Meadows Library. Come join us as we continue our sweater project for the year. In May, we will make a teddy bear sized sweater as a sample, and to learn about sweater construction.
Join us for a special workshop by Mary Beth Temple on Monday, May 21, 6 to 9 pm at the Arlington Heights Library. Learn several colorful stitch patterns while working with only one color of yarn at a time in Two Color Crochet, One Color at a Time.
We are the premiere (first-ever) local chapter of the national organization, the Crochet Guild of America. We encourage all our members to join CGOA, and to attend the annual CGOA crochet conference.
