Home

Due to COVID-19 and the stay-at-home order in Illinois, we are not having in-person chapter meetings.  We do have monthly Zoom meetings for our members.   Our next Zoom will be Saturday February 13, 2021.  Stay safe, stay home, and happy crocheting.

Welcome to the Northern Illinois Chapter of the Crochet Guild of America.   We are a local crochet group in northwest suburban Chicago.  If you love crochet and want to learn more, come join us!

We are the premiere (first-ever) local chapter of the national organization, the Crochet Guild of America. We encourage all our members to join CGOA, and to attend the annual CGOA crochet conference.

We are proud to announce that our chapter came in fourth place in the national CGOA Chapter Challenge for 2020.  Twenty-one of our members participated, and crocheted 264 scarves.

We currently have these Zoom meeting dates/programs set for 2021:
February 13, 2021 – Pia Thadani will teach front post and back post stitches.
March 13, 2021 – Sally Bassett will teach us how to make crocheted flowers.
April 10, 2021
May 8, 2021
June 12, 2021
