The Northern Illinois Chapter currently has several crochet study groups that meet weekly via Zoom or in person. The groups work on projects that teach a new technique or stitch. Or crochet any project that you want. Socialize with chapter members, while advancing your crochet skills. Study groups are open to Northern Illinois Chapter members only. Contact the chapter to get the meeting info for the study group you are interested in.
Weekly Crochet Study Groups
Beginners – led by Marianne Ommundson
Wednesdays at 3 PM
Intermediate – led by Pam Oddi
Tuesdays at 6 PM
Fridays at 2 PM
Our Beginners study group meets either by Zoom or in person at the Arlington Heights library. Contact Marianne Ommundson for details.
Our Intermediate study groups are for intermediate crocheters. You should know the basic stitches (chain, single crochet, half double, double, triple) and how to read a pattern. We crochet several projects in different techniques throughout the year. You are welcome to work on the group project or bring any crochet project and stitch and chat. Our Intermediate study groups currently meet in person at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, subject to room availability. Contact Pam Oddi to get on the email/text list.
